      Perhaps this question has been addressed before, but, allow me to ask: What consitutes the classification of a "fundamental" particle? Does a fundamental particle have ANY half-life? Seems it would not. Is a fundamental particle completely impervious to destruction?   I was just trying to understand why slower charged particles cause more ionization than those faster.
